A hand forged carving knife perfect for the workshop, camp kit, or for fishing. This is made in East Yorkshire by Dr. Zech who uses something similar for a steak knife.

It features a lightweight Wa style handle.

This hand forged carving knife by Dr Zech is made from 26c3 steel and features a clay heat treatment which has been made visible with an acid wash.

The blade is 3mm thick and features a V grind (aka sabre grind). This beautiful knife is all handmade in East Yorkshire.

The handle is primarily English yew with aluminium, resin, and cork. The most striking feature is the 1925 half silver English shilling on the pommel.

It is supplied sharp and takes and keeps an edge well.
