Dutch Planting Trowel — Hand Forged by British Blacksmith

This hand forged Dutch planting trowel is designed and made by hand by Dr Zech. The Dutch planting style of trowel features a wider blade for scooping more soil to place around bulbs, tubes, and root balls for spring planting.

This Dutch planting trowel features a yew wood handle with screws hidden by matching hard wood buttons which makes the handle scales easy to replace as the wood ages. The tang is the full width and length of the handle providing balance and strength. A cork liner between the wood and steel tang helps prevent corrosion and reduce vibration carried through the handle.
