Hand forged kitchen utility knife by Dr Zech featuring a Japanese Wa style handle. Made of high quality 135cr13 carbon steel (not rust proof).

This kitchen utility knife is hand forged by Dr Zech from 135cr13 high carbon steel (same steel used for making files). This kitchen utility knife features a high flat grind of 14 degrees where the primary bevel extends beyond the blades midline with a secondary micro bevel hand ground on a whetstone.
It has a keen edge and is perfect for a variety of kitchen tasks. The bevel has been polished to a mirror shine.
This prep knife features a walnut and bog oak handle with an elm burl and resin spacer.
