These beautiful hand forged garden trowels are perfect for the beginner or seasoned professional. They are made of thick high quality and high carbon British steel.
Each one is different as it is handmade by Dr. Zech. The wood scales for the handles on these trowels are chosen at random. Usually it is oak, yew, iroko, or ash.

This hand forged garden trowel is expertly crafted by Dr. Zech with the professional or serious gardener in mind. Each handle features a full tang and is balanced perfectly with the blade to reduce wrist fatigue.
Some have asked about the black on the trowels, this is leftover forge scale from heat treatment to leave a unique and hand crafted feel. It will not impede the performance of the trowel.
