It is also dishwasher safe, though do note the black forge scale will disappear in the dishwasher leaving it much more shiny.

A hand forged spatula made of lead and nickel free copper and stainless steel. It features copper rivets and a decorative loop at the top of the handle. This hand forged spatula is made entirely by hand by Dr Zech in his workshop at Burton Constable, East Yorkshire.
