Returns Policy

The Anvil and Yew Ltd accepts returns of unused products for a full refund or partial refund for custom orders (see below) within 14 business days of courier delivery confirmation to a customer.  Products must be returned to our address clearly displayed on the postage label in their original unused condition. It is important to package returns securely as any damage in transit will be deducted from the return total. The Customer is responsible for all return postage costs. Orders returned from EEA/EU countries must sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) or any customs fees will be deducted from the refund total.

Returns Policy for Custom Orders

Customised products may only be returned in an unused condition within 14 business days from time of delivery for a partial refund.  The amount of the refund will be less the cost of the restocking fee.  The restocking fee is 60% of the order total (this includes postage) i.e. if an order cost £100 the restocking fee will be 60% or £60. This covers the time required to remake the custom product into a product that can be resold. The Customer is responsible for all return postage costs. Orders returned from EEA/EU countries must sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) or any customs fees will be deducted from the refund total.

Return Policy for Used Products

Used products may be returned within 30 days after receipt if a buyer has found them not to their liking for a PARTIAL REFUND to the original payment method or store credit.  The Customer is to pay return postage costs and the amount of the refund will be determined by the Store Owner. Orders returned from EEA/EU countries must sent Delivered Duty Paid
(DDP) or any customs fees will be deducted from the refund total.

Policy for Damaged Products

We strive to ensure products pass rigorous tests before shipment. In the rare event a product is damaged in a manner rendering it unusable during NORMAL USE (normal use is defined as a products named purpose i.e. trowels for digging or vegetable knives for vegetables not chopping bones) within  3 years of the purchase date, it may be returned for replacement or repair. The Customer is responsible for return postage costs to the Shop Owner.  Products damaged as a result of negligence  may in some cases be repaired at a rate of £20/hour plus materials plus postage back to the customer. Orders returned from EEA/EU countries must sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) or any customs fees will be deducted from the refund total.

Processing Times

For returns requiring refunds, those refunds will be made within 30 business days of receipt of the returned products. Product replacements will be made between 5 and 25 business days except where changes to custom orders are requested. In such special cases the customer will be notified of lead times and receive periodic updates via email.
