Hand forged stainless steel garden trowel my by Dr Zech. There are two versions, short and long.
The short version is perfect for filling pots and planters from soil backs.
The long version features a 6 inch blade that is slightly narrower and is perfect for planting bulbs and tubers/root balls in established beds. Graduated lines in cm or in can be requested.
Both versions feature wooden plug type handle which can be easily replaced. This can also be turned to any length up to 60cm.
These stainless steel garden trowels are hand forged by Dr Zech from a single piece of 3mm steel. That is 3 times thicker than those on the high street! They feature a simple socket with a turned wooden handle.
Each stainless steel garden trowel is oil hardened so they will not easily bend or break, that said they are for digging in soft soils for the purpose of planting and not for the leveraging of large cobbles. Even stronger versions are found here on our website.
The wood for the handles is sourced from English tree surgeons meaning this helps support greener timber harvesting.
