A hand forged Damascus pairing knife with 160 true layers pattern welded from 1095 and 15n20 steel. It is perfect for the kitchen, workshop, camp kit, or for fishing. This is made in East Yorkshire by Dr. Zech who uses something similar for a steak knife.

It features a lightweight handle with a full length hidden tang.

This hand forged pairing knife by Dr Zech is made from pattern welded (Damascus) steel and features 160 true layers. The steel grades used for the pattern weld are 1095 and 15n20. It features a 3mm thick blade with a high V grind. This beautiful knife is all handmade in East Yorkshire.

The handle is made of mixed wood burl and resin with brass spacer and bolster with a padauk cap. The hidden tang runs the length of the handle.

It is supplied sharp and takes and keeps an edge well.
