A hand forged narrow trowel with hardwood handles and mechanical fittings securing the wood scales to a full steel tang. made from one piece of quality 1030 steel.

This is a hand forged narrow trowel or gauging trowel for general gardening, landscape, or archaeology work.
It is hand forged of 1030 carbon steel by Dr Zech right here in Britain.
The handle is made of domestic hardwood (oak, ash, beech, walnut etc) and is fitted with mechanical fittings covered by wood buttons.
Since each piece is hand made there are slight variations from product to product.
