The steel types Dr Zech uses for these are Nilox, 135cr3, Becut, 440, and AEB-L.
Each knife blank is different and will be selected at random but are all roughly the same size and shape. If this is an issue, please contact us and we can send a photo of what we have in stock and you can select from there.
The bevels are belt finished to 800 grit to facilitate easy hand polishing to a mirror finish if so desired.
