This hand forged Sloyd knife is perfect for the kitchen, workshop, camp kit, or fishing. This is made in East Yorkshire by Dr. Zech who uses something similar for a carving knife. This Sloyd style knife is made from high carborn pattern welded steel aka Damascus steel.

It features a lightweight contoured handle with a hidden tang.

This hand forged damascus steel Sloyd knife by Dr Zech is made from pattern welded 15n20 and 1095 steel. It features 320 true layers and a 4mm thick tapered blade with a high V grind (Sabre grind) with microbevel. The point has been specially heat treated to be extra hard.

This beautiful knife is all handmade in East Yorkshire.

The handle is shaped for wood carving and features cankerous ash with a English bog oak spacer.

It is supplied sharp and takes and keeps an edge well.
