Here you can design a custom hand forged garden trowel. These are handmade to order in Britain by Dr. Zech. Each piece is unique and no to are the same. These beautiful trowels showcase the hammer marks from traditional forging tools and techniques (black areas). Each one is made with care to last a lifetime and is professionally balanced for all levels of gardeners. The handle features a full steel tang design so you no longer have to worry about the wood/plastic handle pulling or falling off.

A custom garden trowel hand forged by Dr Zech makes the perfect gift! Each are expertly handmade in small batches by Dr. Zech using high quality British steel. The steel used for these is thicker than the leading high street brands and therefore lasts longer.

The professional garden trowel features a forged welded construction between blade and handle. The socketed and heavy duty versions are forged from a single piece of steel.

Each custom garden trowel is fully heat treated for strength. The stainless steel option of the socketed version is specially formed and hardened to ensure it is suitably strong and will not easily bend (despite it being thin and lighter weight than the other styles). However, it is recommended to choose tool steel for any of the garden trowels if strength is a concern (or you tend abuse tools and use trowels as levers for large stones).

Wood for the handles is sustainably sourced and these beautiful works of art are vegan friendly!
